Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates · 6 stands compared

West Grandstand (Turn 6)

£££

Best for Best overall & best for action — anyone who came to watch racing

Sits outside Turn 6 at the end of the long back straight and wraps round so you see the braking zone, the approach straight and across the infield to Turns 15-16 — one seat, most of the lap.

Turns 15-16 across the infield
Start/finish straight action from Sections 6-8
Coveredshaded sun Big screen
  • Widest track coverage of any stand at the circuit
  • DRS plus heavy braking makes it the top overtaking and incident spot
  • Cars brake straight toward you — excellent photography
  • Pricier than North
  • No podium view and a walk/shuttle to the concert

South Grandstand (Turn 9)

££

Best for Families, comfort seekers and cornering purists

Watches cars stream down the straight into Turn 9 and through that fast, slightly banked sweep, with upper seats also catching Turns 10-11.

Coveredshaded sun Big screen
  • High-speed cornering with visible sparks
  • Full roof and north-east facing, so no glare in an evening race
  • Sections 5-8 Level 4 give the best sightlines and screen view
  • Fewer overtakes since the 2021 softening of the corner
  • Far from the concert — shuttle needed to Etihad Park

North Grandstand (Turn 5 hairpin)

£

Best for Best value & best for first-timers — action, crowd and the concert walk

Outside the Turn 5 hairpin — sees entry, apex and exit plus the panorama back up the approach, and was the site of the 2021 title-decider.

  • Cheapest reserved seat (~AED 1,720) at a real overtaking corner
  • Biggest, rowdiest crowd and ~5-minute walk to the Etihad Park concert
  • One of the best single-corner views at the track
  • Large runoff leaves cars a little distant
  • Some entry-facing seats catch late sun

Marina Grandstand (Turns 8-9 / marina section)

£

Best for Budget, scenery and families

Built atop the support-pit building between Turns 8 and 9, it trades live racing action for a scenic view across the technical marina infield — sit Sections 4-5, row J and up.

Coveredshaded sun Big screen
  • Cheap, comfortable and the prettiest backdrop for postcard photos
  • Full roof, north-east facing so the sun is behind you all session
  • Quietest stand for passing after the 2021 remodel
  • Section 1 rows A-D are blocked by the bridge; front blocks lose T13

Main Grandstand (start/finish, pits & podium)

£££

Best for Bucket-listers who want the start, pit stops and podium ceremony

Opposite the pits on the start/finish straight, it delivers lights-out, pit stops and the podium but the most limited on-track racing view at the circuit.

Turn 16
Coveredfull sun Big screen

  • Biggest stand with big-event buzz and the Main Oasis fan zone adjacent
  • Most limited racing view — you watch the rest on screens
  • South-facing and the most sun-exposed; premium price

Abu Dhabi Hill (General Admission)

£

Best for Cheapest way in — budget and festival atmosphere over live sightlines

The circuit's only general admission area: a raised, festival-style zone where you are buying the event and the atmosphere more than a live view of the racing.

Big screens
Limited track glimpses from the raised mound
Uncoveredfull sun Big screen
  • Cheapest ticket (~AED 995-1,250 for 3 days) with the concert included
  • Festival-style flexible viewing with big screens and adjacent Oasis fan zones
  • Weak live sightlines — fencing and distance mean you watch mostly on screens
  • Limited shade
