Zandvoort, Netherlands · 7 stands compared
Best for Best overall — cover plus grid, podium, pits and start/finish
The biggest stand at the track and the only roofed one, giving a broad main-straight view of the grid, start/finish, podium and the DRS launch into Tarzan — the full ceremony package, weatherproofed on a coast prone to sudden rain and strong sun.
Best for Best action and best value — the circuit's only real overtaking corner
Sited on the outside of the wide, off-camber Turn 1 hairpin at the end of the main straight, sections 1 and 2 give an excellent view of the braking zone and apex of Zandvoort's premier overtaking corner — shoot and sit from high rows to clear the catch-fence.
Best for Best for first-timers — orange-wall atmosphere, DJ and Jumbotron
A stadium bowl on the inside of Turns 11-12 with stands facing each other across the track, showing the second-best passing area — the slow chicane/hairpin braking complex — against a wall of orange, best from rows 20+ of Arena 1 (entrances 1217-1218) or Arena 2 (entrances 1209-1210).
Best for Strategy fans and pit-stop watchers
Sits on the main straight directly opposite the pit boxes, so you get pit-lane action, garages, the start and the launch into Tarzan — you watch cars accelerate away rather than wrestle a corner.
Best for Photographers chasing the signature banked-corner shot
The last stand before the final two turns, showing cars committing to the banked Arie Luyendyk before the DRS run to Turn 1 — spectacular speed and lean rather than passing.
Best for Action seekers who want the Arena vibe a touch cheaper
An extension of the Arena at the Turn 11 braking zone, where late lunges and lock-ups happen, with the Arena's atmosphere spilling over.
Best for Photographers fixed on the banked final corner (flagged as an avoid)
At the opposite end of the main straight from Tarzan, with a decent angle on cars firing out of the banked final corner onto the straight, but it is the one stand at Zandvoort with no big screen.
